The Ski Challenge Race is designed to promote fair competition amongst recreational skiers of similar ability levels. Winning a ski race is no less thrilling for a beginning skier than it is for an elite racer. The Ski Challenge Race is tailored to accommodate all the skiers. Participants will compete in classes based on skier's age and gender. Each class (group) will be given a start time to ensure that racers in the same class get to compete in similar environment (snow conditions, weather, race course condition, etc.). The Ski Challenge Giant Slalom race will be decided by two runs (best time). The second run will be held on the same piste and on the same course.
Complete race rules will be provided at the race registration.
