September 9th through the 11th we will need volunteers willing to check ID's for the Pork & Hops Challenge. Pork and Hops is a sanctioned barbeque contest and micro-brew sampling held in Lincoln Park, Grand Junction. The Grand Junction Parks and Recreation Department offers CDA this opportunity to check patron IDs in exchange for part of the proceeds.
Volunteer times are broken down in 2.5-hour intervals: Thursday between 5:30 and 10:00 p.m., Friday between 2:30 and 10:00 p.m., and Saturday between 10:30 a.m. and 10:30 p.m.

The Hartford Ski Spectacular is the signature winter event in Breckenridge, Colorado of Disabled Sports USA. In addition to clinics and programs for the athletes, workshops for ski instructors highlight the newest advances in adapted skiing developments. Opening and closing banquents and cocktail hours plenty of opportunities to network and meet other athletes.
